Carlsons New ABOVE GROUND DECOY SOCKET makes setting decoys in all types of ground conditions easy. Using any kind of a staked decoy is usually easy but putting stakes into frozen ground or ice is nearly impossible... Until Now! The above ground decoy stake eliminates all need to put a hole in the ground. It creates a hole above the ground that can be used with nearly all decoys that use a stake. The AG Decoy Socket is a 3/4" diameter metal tube welded to a custom stake making the AG Decoy socket tough enough to handle frozen ground when driven. An optional hardened driver is also available to help make driving the AG Decoy Sockets even easier. The AG Decoy Socket is a snap to install in all types of soil conditions making decoy set-up faster than ever before. Another major benefit of the AG Decoy Socket is that it changes standard decoys into motion decoys, making your decoys wind activated. The female metal socket provides a smooth outside bearing surface allowing the decoy to move inside the socket. Using the AG Decoy Socket also ensures that your decoys and decoy stakes stay clean since they are never put into the ground. Standard, long decoy stakes are easily converted for use with the AG Decoy Socket by simply shortening the stake to your desired length. For Turkey Hunting, the AG Decoy Socket works equally well in field and woodlands soils, and provides motion to your turkey decoy. For smaller diameter decoy stakes (up to 5/16") an optional nylon insert is available and can attached to the stake for fast and easy set up.
